1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using Cases-IO ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Cases-IO provides a cloud-based medical-legal case management platform that enables organizations to manage IME and peer review workflows, provider scheduling, and document management.

3. User Accounts

To use our Service, you must:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Transmit malicious code or viruses
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Share your account credentials with unauthorized users
  • Use the Service to violate any applicable laws or regulations

5. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We maintain enterprise-grade security measures to protect your data, including:

  • Isolated customer databases and file storage
  • Encrypted data at rest and in transit
  • Healthcare-grade security infrastructure
  • Regular security audits and monitoring
  • Business Associate Agreements (BAA) available when required

6. Subscription and Payment

Our Service is provided on a subscription basis. You agree to:

  • Pay all fees associated with your subscription plan
  • Provide accurate billing information
  • Allow us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis
  • Notify us of any changes to your billing information

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time with no long-term contracts.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, content, and materials, is owned by Cases-IO and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your data, but grant us a license to use it to provide the Service.

8. Service Availability

While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform scheduled maintenance and updates with advance notice when possible.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cases-IO shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, you will have a reasonable period to export your data.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Chester County, Pennsylvania.
